You’ve likely heard the stats – 70, 80, 90% of women aren’t wearing the right bra size. It’s probably because that most of the stores that are telling us this stat are misinforming us about how to be properly fitted into a bra. Go over to our fit guide to find out more about how to determine your size.
But as with any other article of clothing, you might fit a specific size in one brand, and it fits you perfectly, whereas there could be other brands that you try in five different sizes and nothing seems to work. So along with size, shape and style is more important than you might think! Are you narrow in the centre? Try a plunge bra. Are you full in the top? Try a full-cup bra. Do you find that there’s extra fabric in the centre of the cups, even if the rest fits right? Buy Freya or Fantasie. Are you more pointy than rounded? Try Panache or Cleo. Often, you’ll find that you’ll have better luck sticking with brands with similar shapes. If you’re stuck, or if you’ve tried so many styles and brands that you’re ready to give up, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We might be able to offer you a new suggestion.
