You know that terrible feeling of having a toothache or a broken toe, where your whole body feels out of sorts because just one little thing is wrong? Or that wonderful feeling when you wear a new pair of shoes or right after you got the perfect haircut? Wearing a bra is like that – if it doesn’t feel ‘right’, it can throw off your day. If, on the other hand, your bra fits perfectly, you might stand taller, speak more confidently, or be a little more adventurous!
Believe me, the quest for that perfect bra is worth it. So let’s get started.
Step 1 – Check your current bra
First, put on your best-fitting bra. Make sure that the bottom of the bra is fitting against your body. Then adjust your straps so that they’re snug, but not too tight (can you fit two fingers between your shoulder and the strap?). If you’re still with me, continue onto the mirror part. Otherwise, skip to the tape measure step and see if your existing bra is a wildly different size to what the tape measure is telling you.
